Who Sails From Palm Beach

The Port of Palm Beach is a one-ship cruise port. Its regular cruise line is Margaritaville at Sea, and its ship Paradise sails from Palm Beach year-round.

Margaritaville at Sea grew out of the former Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line, which for years ran two-night trips between Palm Beach and Grand Bahama. Since the rebrand, the ship has broadened its range: Nassau, Bimini, Key West and, in 2026, its first visits to Cozumel, Mexico. The company also operates a second ship, Islander, but Islander sails from Tampa, not Palm Beach (see our sister site, Cruise From Tampa Bay).

The port’s own cruise page also lists SeaDream Yacht Club, whose two small yachts carry about a hundred guests each. They are a world apart from Paradise in style and price; if you are interested, ask our advisors whether any departures from Palm Beach are scheduled for your dates.

Paradise 2027 Itineraries

In February 2026 the port announced the 2027 itineraries for Paradise (port news release). Margaritaville at Sea plans to keep sailing from Palm Beach year-round, with these routes:

Choosing the Right Sailing

  • Three nights is the classic first-cruise test drive — out on a Friday-ish, home before the work week.
  • Four nights adds a second port or a sea day without much more time off.
  • Five nights reaches farther: Grand Turk, Cozumel or the Dominican Republic.
  • Theme sailings (holidays, festivals, sports weekends) are the most fun and the first to fill. Book early.
  • Cabin choice matters less on a short trip, but if you are sensitive to motion, pick a lower, midship cabin.

If Palm Beach does not have the trip you want on your dates, our advisors will compare sailings from Port Everglades, Miami and Port Canaveral too. More about homeports around the country is on American Cruise Center.
